When is Violence Justified and when is it not?

Objectives

The objective of this assignment were to find five credible sources and write a four to six-page essay addressing the following questions. When is violence justified and unjustified, what is the role of anger in conflict and violence, and if we thought people resorted to violence more often than they should? For the first question, I chose three recent events and looked at them from both sides of the violence to give each an equal opportunity to explain its justification. These events are the protests in Russia over the political campaign of Alexei Navalny, Antifa, and police brutality. Although I answered the second question in my original essay when submitting it as an artifact, I took it out entirely as I felt both when I wrote the essay and now; it seems irrelevant.
