Discussion: Scientific and Interpretive Criteria

Objectives

This discussion asked us to read the 12 criteria, six scientific and six interpretive that a theory should meet to be considered a valid communications theory. After reading the criteria, we were asked to write a discussion post, discussing the three criteria we considered most important and why, the three criteria we found the least important and why, and show how knowing this information will benefit our future studies in communication theories.
