About Devin

Devin Stonerock is an accomplished writer, editor, and adjunct instructor with a strong academic foundation and a passion for clear, purposeful communication. She completed her core coursework and the majority of her electives at Purdue University before transferring to Indiana Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2021.

In 2023, Devin earned her Master’s degree in English from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Distinction and Honors. Her graduate studies focused on writing, rhetoric, and literacy, strengthening her expertise in composition, research-based writing, and digital pedagogy.

Devin’s professional experience includes writing for a wide range of formats and audiences, including magazine and social media articles, blogs, academic research, presentations, grant proposals, and other scholarly and professional projects. She also brings a strong editorial background, with experience editing acknowledgment letters for nonprofit organizations, content for a professional counseling website, and published work for College Magazine.

In addition to her writing and editorial work, Devin serves as an adjunct instructor, teaching college-level English and composition courses. Her teaching emphasizes effective writing practices, critical thinking, and adaptability to online and digitally mediated learning environments. She enjoys mentoring students and helping them develop confidence and clarity in their writing across academic and professional contexts.

Outside of her professional work, Devin enjoys spending time walking with her three dogs—Biscuit, George, and Luna—and continuing her own education by taking classes at Ivy Tech, where she also teaches. A lifelong learner at heart, she values education not only as a profession but as a continual and rewarding pursuit.
